"A charming Margaux!

"Aromas of sweet berries, spice, rose petals and loamy soil introduce Paveil de Luze 2019. A medium- to full-bodied wine, supple and seamless, lively, sapid and refined, showing real class and character. Cabernet Sauvignon on gravel is the order of the day, and the result is one of the Médoc's best non-classified wines this year." Château de la Coste 2016

4/5 (8 reviews)

Château de la Coste is the second wine of Château Paveil de Luze, one of the Médoc's oldest estates, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel de Margaux. Coste refers to the hillside (croupe in Médoc parlance). This wine comes from a selection of 20% of Paveil de Luze's production from 30-year-old vines. It has the advantage of being pleasant in its youth, but is capable of ageing. This 2016 already offers fruitiness, velvety texture and fullness. A pretty promise already accessible and a great bargain for a Margaux!
