Château Clos de Boüard
Coralie de Boüard, who spent her childhood in Saint-Emilion at Château Angélus, carried on the family tradition and developed a passion for wine with her father, working alongside him on the estate for 10 years.
She took over the management of Château La Fleur de Boüard in 2012, then Château Clos de Boüard, bought by the family in 2016, with a view to passing on her knowledge and passion to her children. A committed winemaker, Coralie de Boüard is now keen to make the most of her terroir, and the land of her childhood.
Château Clos de Boüard extends over approximately 30 hectares in the Montagne Saint-Emilion appellation, in the commune of Parsac, sharing a magnificent clay-limestone terroir with such renowned estates as Châteaux Fombrauge, Fleur Cardinale, Trolong Mondot and Croix de Labrie. The estate comprises 19.62 hectares of Merlot vines, 2.59 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and 7.64 hectares of Cabernet Franc.
Today, it remains a grape variety of great importance in the blending of their Château Clos de Boüard and Dame de Boüard cuvées, just as it is in the blending of the illustrious Château Angélus, the signature of historic, family know-how.
