Château Plaisance (Vignobles Ducourt)
Château Plaisance is owned by Vignobles Ducourt, who also own other estates such as Château d'Haurets and Château Jacques Noir.
Château Plaisance was originally a very old estate acquired in 1994 by Celliers de Bordeaux Benauge, the marketing unit of Vignobles Ducourt. It is run by Eric Fuzeau, who, in collaboration with Philippe Ducourt, produces a top-quality Montagne Saint-Emilion on a limestone-clay terroir, with meticulous, sustainable vineyard management.
Château Plaisance wines are always very complex and well-balanced, with a finish often marked by a beautiful minerality.

This Montagne Saint-Emilion boasts an intense, deep ruby color, and a nose with complex notes of red fruit, herbaceous accents and a hint of chocolate. Structured and well-balanced on the palate, it offers supple tannins and a long, mineral finish... Enjoy it now with a wild boar stew, for example!
