Château La Croix du Casse

La Croix du Casse Castle
Located south of the town of Pomerol, the La Croix du Casse Castle produces exclusively red wines on nearly 9.5 hectares of vines. Its terroir is composed of sandy gravel and iron-rich soil. After belonging to the Audy family (also at the head of Château Clinet at the time) for several years, the Castéja family bought the La Croix du Casse Castle in 2005

Already owners of the Grands Crus Classés Batailley, Trottevieille, and Lynch-Moussas, the Castéja family aims to restore the La Croix du Casse Castle all its former prestige. As part of this dynamic, a second wine called "Les Chemins de la Croix du Casse" is produced in order to reserve the finest grapes for the grand vin. For more than 15 years, this Pomerol estate has benefited from historic family expertise.

Château La Croix du Casse produces wines that are enjoyable to drink, with fruity and floral notes. They can be stored in the cellar for between 5 and 15 years.
