Château la Caze Bellevue
Château La Caze Bellevue was founded by Mr. Philippe Faure in 1978, and bears the name of its locality "La Caze". It was originally the property of the Comtesses de Rochefort. Along with Château Gravet, it forms part of the Philippe Faure vineyards.

The Château La Caze Bellevue vineyard covers a total area of 13 hectares in Saint-Emilion, on gravelly, sandy, coarse-textured brown soils. The combination of modern techniques and traditional methods contributes to the richness of the wines produced. The carefully sorted harvest is put through temperature-controlled fermentation, with about 20% bleeding to concentrate aromas, before a 15-21 day maceration period in vats. After ageing in vats, Château La Caze Bellevue is placed in oak barrels for three months.

Château La Caze Bellevue has an annual production of around 50,000 bottles of Saint-Emilion wines.

Note du Guide Hachette des Vins: 2**(Remarkable wine) + Coup de Coeur
"Eighteen months in vat have produced a dark garnet-red wine with an expressive, complex nose combining ripe fruit and spices (cloves). The palate, too, has much to offer: richness, great volume and density, a solid yet silky tannic structure, and length. A Saint-Emilion full of elegance and depth, to be enjoyed at its best in three or four years, with a shoulder of lamb with sweet spices, for example". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)
