Note du Guide Hachette des Vins: 2**(Remarkable wine) + Coup de Coeur
"Eighteen months in vat have produced a dark garnet-red wine with an expressive, complex nose combining ripe fruit and spices (cloves). The palate, too, has much to offer: richness, great volume and density, a solid yet silky tannic structure, and length. A Saint-Emilion full of elegance and depth, to be enjoyed at its best in three or four years, with a shoulder of lamb with sweet spices, for example". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)

Tasted in March 2016: good concentration, good evolution (intense aromas of red fruits, ripe): at 8 euros home price, an excellent value for money.

A beautiful dark color and a rather fruity nose. The wine is pleasant. However, I feel it lacks depth and length.

A pleasant wine that seems typical of the appellation. I liked its nose and roundness on the palate. The tannins are not too pronounced and the whole is quite silky. Too bad it's not a little longer on the palate. A good Q/P ratio that I don't regret.

Very alcoholic and quite aggressive acidity. Maybe I stumbled on the wrong bottle, I took two. The second is in the cellar, answer in 3-4 years...
