Domaine Agnès Paquet
Initially, Agnès Paquet was not destined to become a winemaker.
Her ancestors purchased a plot of land in Auxey-Duresses in the 1950s. Until 2001, it was farmed by neighboring winemakers. When Agnès' parents decided to sell the plot, she changed direction from her previous career path in business to study viticulture and oenology.
Agnès Paquet then introduced new cultivation methods : plowing, moderate yields, integrated pest management, manual labor in the vineyards, etc. All with the aim of reducing the estate's impact on the environment and achieving impeccable quality.
As for the winery, the wines are made using indigenous yeasts, with very few inputs.
Today, Agnès Paquet cultivates an 8-hectare vineyard in the following appellations: Burgundy (red and white), Auxey-Duresses (red and white), Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin 1er Cru.
