Domaine Agnès Paquet
At the start, Agnès Paquet was not destined to become a winemaker.
His ancestors acquired a parcel of Auxey-Duresses in the 1950s. Until 2001, it was farmed out to neighboring winegrowers. When Agnès' parents decided to sell the plot, she changed her career path from sales to viticulture and oenology.

Agnès Paquet introduced new growing methods: ploughing, moderate yields, integrated pest management, manual work in the vines... All with the aim of reducing the estate's impact on the environment and achieving impeccable quality.
In the cellar, the wines are made using indigenous yeasts, with very few inputs.

Today, Agnès Paquet manages an 8-hectare vineyard in the following appellations: Burgundy (red and white), Auxey-Duresses (red and white), Pommard, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru.

"With its regressive edge, Ali Boit Boit smells of spices. Voluminous, with a creamy bubble, the slight sensation of sweet fruit makes it seductive". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 - RVF) This ancestral method, also known as Pétillant Naturel, is the result of early bottling of Aligoté. With no tirage or expedition liqueur, the bubbles give way to pure, thirst-quenching fruit. All the know-how of Agnès Paquet in a pleasure bubble to discover!

Lively and crisp, Agnès Paquet's Crémant de Bourgogne presents aromas of white and yellow fruits with a hint of honey/caramel and white flowers. It's a complex cuvée, thanks to its blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay and Aligoté, with good volume on the palate.

(2013 vintage notes)

With Auxey Duresse 2014, Agnès Paquet signs the thirteenth vintage of this gourmet cuvée with its charming fruitiness. Here, the Pinot Noir expresses roundness, suppleness and aromas of morello cherry and blackcurrant buds.

91/100 Robert Parker

"The Chassagne-Montrachet 2014 Les Battaudes, made from clay soils and aged 30% in new barrels, has a fragrant nose of white flowers, white peach and a hint of Japanese yuzu - all well-defined and nicely integrated with the wood. The palate is vibrant on the attack, with crisp acidity, notes of orange peel and a hint of mulberry leaf. The acidity, well gauged and carrying a certain harmony and refinement on the finish, almost makes you think of a Premier Cru. Excellent." (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker)

(2013 vintage notes)

By maturing her Bourgogne Pinot Noir in concrete tanks, Agnès Paquet has focused on the freshness of the red fruit and on its deliciousness. The crisp acidity blends well with the supple structure. Excellent value for money!

"Overlooking the village of Saint-Aubin, this south-facing climat of 5.24 ha takes its name from an old quarry from which thin slabs of limestone were extracted. Agnès Paquet has produced a wine from it that was cited last year, and acclaimed this year. We praise its limpid pale gold color, the mineral richness of its nose, which also exudes citrus fruit, white flowers and toasted hazelnut, then its elegant, taut palate of rare length. A remarkable expression of terroir and well-melted oak". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016)
