Notes of cherries and dark berries mixed with hints of cigar and tobacco on the nose of this Pinot Noir "Grain de Survie" 2022. Charming and well-concentrated, the palate has good notes of red fruit, with good precision and fine, light tannins, for a long finish. Drink young, with a good hot sausage...

Domaine rated (guide 2021) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
This friendly winegrowing couple have taken a step forward by opting for organic viticulture, which began to be certified with the 2014 vintage. The beautiful ripeness of the grapes is well-balanced by a tonic acidity derived from the limestone soils, and barrel vinification is increasingly respectful of the nuances of the terroirs. Petit-Chablis is regularly remarkable for its richness, while the Yonne red is one of the region's very best. The Premier Crus of the Poinchy area (Léchet, Beauroy, Fourchaume) are today reliable sources for wine lovers. Like others around it, the domaine unfortunately suffered from the climatic conditions of the 2016 vintage. Alas, 2017 began with a terrible frost... Hence the cuvée grain-de-survie, in the trade, to offer a little wine to the usual clientele. The generic petits-chablis and chablis don't have the same precision as usual, so the premiers crus will hold up better. We can't wait for the 2018s!

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Isabelle and Denis Pommier set up in the village of Poinchy in 1990, with 2 hectares of vines (now 23). Some Premier Crus undergo partial fermentation in wood, and all vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts. The entire production is of impeccable quality, especially the entry-level wines. Certified organic since 2014, this estate has produced some superb wines, always very ripe, but not always fresh: with regret, we withdraw the star, hoping for a return to better balance soon.
