"Perfumes of very ripe fruit, slightly rounder palate, power" (Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve 2019) The nose immediately expresses perfumes of white and yellow-fleshed fruit (pear, vine peach, quince, apricot) with notes of small white meadow flowers. These varietal characteristics are complemented by lemony aromas and a mineral dimension (gunflint, iodine, oyster shell). On the palate, it's a very young, straightforward wine, with a certain tension and a lively, teasing spirit. The whole is fine, dynamic and still a little feisty, with a finish featuring those lemony, saline notes. Great ageing potential!

"Exotic notes on the nose, balance and harmony on the palate" (Guide Bettane & Desseauve 2019). This must-have combines flowers and white fruits with mineral touches and a light spicy woodiness. Full-bodied, nervous and saline, the palate develops notes of peach, hazelnut and oyster shell, typical of Chablis. The minerality melts into roundness, and the finish is long and fresh.

With great aromatic finesse, Mont de Milieu Vieilles Vignes reveals the characteristics of the great Chardonnays of the Chablis region. A smoky touch on the mid-palate, brought about by controlled ageing, is part of a fine, silky, crisp style. A very fine 1er cru!
