"To my taste, the 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Séchets is the most refined of Louis Michel's Premiers Crus this year. It unfolds in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, oatmeal, honeycomb and dried white flowers. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, concentrated and textured, with superb nervousness and tension and a long, saline finish." (Wine Advocate 2018 -Robert Parker) A Premier Cru for aging, in the pure Chablisienne tradition!

Wine rated (2019 guide) 16.5/20 (Reference wine)
3*Star rating (High-quality production, a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
An old Chablis family, the Michel's cultivate the very best areas, both premier cru and grand cru. The estate is one of the very few to offer the Grenouilles Grand Cru, whose main producer is La Chablisienne. Since 1969, vinification has been carried out in stainless-steel tanks, so the wines here often start off discreetly in bottle, but their minerality reveals itself without concern after a few years' cellaring.
