With this 2013 vintage, Domaine Lamy-Pillot reveals "the grace and finesse of Morgeot, all mineral lace and subtle length" ( Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2016 - RVF) Halfway between smoothness and tension, this well-balanced cuvée is a worthy representative of the cru.

Chassagne-Montrachet
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (2016 guide) 15.5/20 + Coup de Coeur (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2016 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the wine:
Smooth attack, pure, stylish tension on the palate.
About the domain :
The estate was founded by René Lamy (Hubert's son), who bought land in Chassagne and Saint Aubin. He set up an estate which he passed on to his daughter Florence and son-in-law Sébasien. The latter have been at the helm for the last four or five vintages, never forgetting the advice of the previous generation.

About the domain :
In 1977, René and Thérèse Lamy created this estate, a sure bet in Chassagne and Saint-Aubin. Their daughters Florence (in 1997) and Karine (in 2004) now manage the 15ha of vines with their respective husbands, Sébastien Caillat (in the vineyard) and Daniel Cadot (in sales).
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2016 guide) 16.5/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2016) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
the grace and finesse of the Morgeot, less powerful than the 2012, full of mineral lace and subtle length.
About the domain :
A family-run business par excellence, Domaine Lamy-Pillot cultivates 14.5ha with a series of fine plots in Chassagne-Montrachet. Now run by one of the daughters, Florence, and her husband Sébastien, an oenologist (they have also set up a 2-hectare micro-domain), the domaine produces beautiful, clean, modern whites that show great consistency. Karine, the eldest daughter, and her husband Daniel, distribute the wines and market a selection of Burgundy estates.
