"A well-kept treasure with delicate aromas of flowers and nuts!"

Clos Pitois, the estate's monopoly, has enjoyed a high reputation since 1421, when it was created by the monks. It is one of Chassagne's most renowned crus. On the nose, a cross between flowers and citrus fruit is supported by notes of toast and hazelnuts. The palate offers a basket of fruit dominated by citrus. This round, full-bodied, elegant wine is particularly persistent.

About the domain :

This ancient estate, which dates back to the 18th century, now covers 24 hectares. It is run by Roger Belland, who took over in 1981, his daughter Julie, who arrived in 2003 and is in charge of vinification, and their new collaborator Martin Boyer. Not certified organic here, but viticulture raisonnée (total grassing of the vineyard, no weedkillers), and wines of great consistency.
