Robert Parker
"The Gevrey-Chambertin 1er cru presents a lively floral bouquet on dried violet petal infused in a little black fruit with just a touch of black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, a nice nervousness, and showing a slight attenuation on the finish." (Wine Advocate 2013 - Robert Parker)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2018 guide) 4*Stars (High-quality producers, the glories of the French vineyard)
About the domain :
Édouard Labruyère's enthusiasm and determination to position this estate as one of the world's great vintages is clear to see. His efforts are evident in the vineyard, which has been organically farmed since 1997, in the cellar, where foudres and demi-muids have made their appearance since 2012, and, crucially, in the glass. With its exceptional range of Grands Crus from 22 hectares of vineyards, including 17 hectares in Côte de Beaune and an exclusive representation of Grands Crus in Côte de Nuits, this estate has all the attributes to join the elite of Burgundy estates.
