About the domain :
Domaine established in Premeaux-Prissey, the village with 2 churches, that of Premeaux and that of Prissey. Jean-Pierre Truchetet set up in 1980 with his wife Sylvie, and now farms 5.3 ha. The 6th generation, the winemaker's 2 children, Morgan and Julie, took over the estate (in organic conversion) in 2019 and created a trading structure to expand their range.

Domaine noté (guide 2021) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
In January 2019, Morgan Truchetet and his sister Julie took over the family estate, which consists of just over five hectares, plus a small trading activity under the name of Morgan Truchetet, with purchases of standing grapes. From the outset, Julie and Morgan, who trained in viticulture and winemaking at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, enjoyed the full confidence of their father, who gave them complete freedom to work the vines and make their own wine. Everything here is done to respect the integrity of the grapes: after passing through a vibrating table, the grapes are destemmed for a pre-fermentation maceration at 11-12° for a few days; the temperature of the alcoholic fermentations is controlled, with three to four punchings of the cap and two to three pump-overs per cuvée. All the work is carried out by gravity, from vat filling to barrel filling, with the proportion of new barrels limited to 20%. Private customers, who are welcome to visit the winery, will be seduced by the good humor of these two young winemakers and the aromatic purity of their best Pinot Noirs, a grape variety that accounts for 80% of the winery's volumes. Organic farming certification, which was undertaken in March 2020, immediately reveals the fine ambitions of the estate.
