"A fresh, elegant white that never ceases to please!

The nose of this Mâcon-Bussières opens with floral notes supported by flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is silky and elegant, with a lingering freshness on the finish.

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated domain (guide 2025) Selected (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the domain :

The Devillard family has expanded beyond the borders of Burgundy with the purchase of Maison Rolet in the Jura. In Mercurey, Château de Chamirey remains the largest of their Burgundy estates, with 37 hectares, including 15 Premier Cru. A special feature of the estate is the table d'hôtes in the heart of the hamlet. A skilled technical team, with the arrival of a new cellar master, Carole Briffox, advised by oenologist Enrico Peyrone, constantly strives to improve work in the vines, in winemaking and in ageing, always in pursuit of excellence. After a particularly successful 2017, the estate has captured the full potential of 2018, its intensity but also its finesse. A step up in our hierarchy could be coming very soon.
