"From Jurassic entrobic limestone soil covered with clay, this limpid, brilliant white wine is illuminated by straw hues. Its powerful nose offers flattering aromas of honey, quince and ripe lemon, followed by a full, suave and warm mouthfeel. About the wine:
From Jurassic limestone soil with entroques, covered with clay, this limpid, brilliant white wine is illuminated by straw-colored highlights. Its powerful nose offers flattering aromas of honey, quince and ripe lemon, followed by a full, suave and warm palate. An opulent white to pair with rich dishes such as Bresse poultry with cream and morels.
About the domain :
Dom. de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually abandoned mixed farming in favor of vines. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, before being joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, initially 6.5 ha, has grown to 25 ha today, spread over 52 parcels that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 ha).
