The Mâconnais mountains shape the terroir, which is dominated by siliceous, clayey and sandy soils, particularly well-suited to the development of the local grape variety: Chardonnay.
Mâcon wines are exclusively white wines, renowned for the richness of their aromatic palette, inherited from the magnificent expression of Chardonnay. Mâcon wines are very easy to drink and can be enjoyed in all circumstances. They are nonetheless top-quality products, not to be outdone by the crus offered by houses such as Maison Verget, Domaine Louis Jadot or Domaine La Soufrandière-Bret Brothers.

A great terroir of the Mâcon region, the bathonian clay-limestone soils give all the minerality to this deep, precise wine, combining freshness and roundness with expressive notes of brioche, pear, almond, chalk and citrus. The oldest vineyard on the estate, it was planted with an old chardonnay grape variety, known as "muscaté". These bring exotic exotic and spicy notes to the wine. The muscaté aspect of the wine disappears with age, giving way to terroir with saline and chalky notes. Laying down : Longer to express itself, this wine deserves a few years of laying down (10-15 years).
