"A delicious, well-balanced white, with a harmonious finish...".

"50-year-old Chardonnays vinified and aged in vats on fine lees for 8 months have produced an expressive wine evocative of honey, lime blossom, lemon and mimosa. The palate, straight and firm on the attack, then softens around an unctuous, fruity body, refreshed by a mineral finish. A fine terroir wine that needs time to assert itself and blossom". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the wine:

50-year-old Chardonnays vinified and aged in vats on fine lees for 8 months have produced an expressive wine evocative of honey, lime blossom, lemon and mimosa. The palate, straight and firm on the attack, then softens around an unctuous, fruity body, refreshed by a mineral finish. A fine terroir wine that needs time to assert itself and blossom.

About the domain :

Dom. de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually abandoned mixed farming in favor of vines. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, before being joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, initially 6.5 ha, has grown to 25 ha today, spread over 52 parcels that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 ha).
