"Sublime!"
"This wine receives special attention from Delaunay, and it lives up to expectations, with a medium to deep garnet color and pronounced blackberry fruitiness with smoky and mineral notes. The texture is tannic, but there is nothing rustic here, just exceptional fruit purity and length. It is blended from grapes purchased from Belle Croix, Les Longecourts, and Aux Allots. In abundant years, the house often downgrades certain premier cru barrels, but in 2021, it stands on its own and is quite effective." (Decanter 2023)

About the estate:
More than just a novelty, it's a renaissance. The return of this old house is a welcome sight. The man who revived it is Laurent Delaunay. He is the great-grandson of the founder and has established himself as a leading figure in the Languedoc wine industry, specializing in wines for everyday enjoyment. It is in Burgundy, on his own land, that he once again demonstrates the full extent of his talent and vision. We particularly recommend the Nuits-Saint-Georges vintages, vinified with extreme care and attention to tannin extraction, resulting in voluptuous, tender wines that are always straightforward. The entire range is flawless.
