A fairly late vintage, 2013 produces a wine with complex aromas of red fruits and spices. The palate is balanced between freshness, finesse and deliciousness. "Fine, racy with energy and a seductive tannic envelope, this wine is still a success. " (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France)

Rodolphe Demougeot
Pommard
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (2016 guide) 16.5/20 + Coup de Coeur (Reference wine)
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the wine:
Fine, racy with energy and a seductive tannic envelope, this wine is yet another success.
About the domain :
Although Rodolphe Demougeot has been based in Meursault since 1998, since 1992 he has been developing an estate whose 7.8-hectare heartland consists mainly of a fine representation of the Pommard and Savigny-lès-Beaune crus. The red wines, made from meticulously sorted grapes, destemmed or not, vinified in concrete vats, have an energy that makes them drinkable from a young age in a gourmet style, very well suited to the restaurant trade and to those who like to drink their wines young. As for the whites, they offer uprightness and verticality.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated (2016 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
The Pommard Les Vignots concentrates more acid, serving up a retro wine worthy of the terroir, with a taut finish.
About the domain :
Rodolphe Demougeot founded his domaine in 1992. His red wines are energetic and dense, and age very well. Today, they are harmonious, free from the hard finishes that marked past vintages.
