Jancis Robinson
"A nicely melted minerality".
A charming nose with aromas of dried fruit, lemon and wet stones. The barrel ageing is discreet, but does not prevent the sublime minerality from expressing itself.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Emmanuel Giboulot is one of the pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in Burgundy. His soils are worked with a view to imparting their minerality to the wines, and after a few years' work, the results can be felt. His wines are taut, but also fine, so wait until they reveal their full complexity.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Guide vert (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
This domaine defends with conviction a personal stylistic vision of its wines. Tender, easy to digest, never extracted or woody, they offer a natural fruitiness that is astonishing, even if the whites sometimes seem to be on the verge of being covered in sulfur. A pioneer of biodynamic viticulture for thirty years, Emmanuel Giboulot was much in the news in 2013 and 2014 for having been condemned, then acquitted, after refusing to treat his vines against flavescence dorée disease.
