Score : Robert Parker 91/100
"The Saint Véran Terres Noires 2011 reveals a nuanced, relatively complex bouquet of nectarine, honeysuckle and jasmine scents that gently fill the glass. The palate is well balanced with delicate acidity, orange zest and lime notes that gradually lead to a beautifully elegant finish." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Domaine Cordier Père et Fils
Saint-Véran
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2016 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Christophe Cordier is always on the move, his businesses always expanding, both the family estate and the trading business. In both cases, he has invested in technical facilities of a rare level in the region, at the cutting edge of oenological progress. The approach to each parcel of land is precise and the ageing techniques are diversified, but the sometimes excessive woodiness still masks the expression of certain cuvées.

Domaine rated (2015 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
Founded in 1945, Domaine Cordier was taken over by Roger Cordier in 1971. The arrival of his son Christophe just over five years ago has not changed the exemplary style of the wines. The estate has remained at the top for many years.
