This premier cru, whose name "Commes" comes from "combe", benefits from an excellent sloping exposure. Renowned as one of Santenay's finest wines of Santenay, it is elegance incarnate. The ripe yet fresh nose presents aromas of red berries, earth and pretty floral nuances. A clear minerality and a structured palate highlight the intense, vibrant nuances in a deep, long and harmonious wine. A true declaration of love!

About the domain :

This ancient estate, which dates back to the 18th century, now covers 24 hectares. It is run by Roger Belland, who set up in 1981, his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and is in charge of vinification, and their new collaborator Martin Boyer. No certified organic farming here, but controlled, reasoned viticulture (total grassing of the vineyard, no weedkillers), and wines of great consistency.
