Domaine Quintessa

Founded in 1990 by Valeria and Agustin Huneeusthe domaine Quintessa is located in the heart of the Nappa Valleyin Rutherford, California. The owners fell in love with this natural diversity of terroirs and geology, which foretold the creation of a "wine of the future". unique Californian wine.

Today, the vineyard is managed organically and biodynamically, and covers more than 160 hectares of vines planted with a wide variety of grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carménère.

To preserve all the purity of this great terroir, each grape variety is harvested by hand, then vinified and aged separately. Depending on the vintage, the wine may be aged for up to 24 months in French oak barrels, before being blended for bottling. Domaine Quintessa then keeps the wines in its cellars for almost 12 months before marketing them worldwide. This exemplary attention to detail throughout its creation has made Quintessa one of the Nappa Valley's iconic wines to this day.
