"The house style is evident in this cuvée with its expressive, precise and fine nose, revealing notes of white fruit (mature apple, juicy pear) and verbena. The full-bodied, creamy, chalky palate reveals granny smith flavors and root notes for an energetic finish. The terroir of the Grands Crus is well represented. Serve as an aperitif or with papillotes of langoustines in citrus sauce". (Le Guide des Vins Gault & Millau 2021)

About the wine:
The house style is evident in this cuvée with its expressive, precise and fine nose, revealing notes of white fruit (ripe apple, juicy pear) and verbena. The full-bodied, creamy, chalky palate reveals granny smith flavors and root notes for an energetic finish. The terroir of the Grands Crus is well represented. Serve as an aperitif or with langoustine papillotes in a citrus sauce.
About the domain :
Descended from a line of winegrowers dating back to the 17th century, Rémi and Jean-René Brice cultivate the family's 12-hectare vineyard. Surrounded by Christophe Constant, oenologist and production manager, they produce champagnes rooted in the terroir of Bouzy, classified as a Grand Cru.
Gilbert & Gaillard
Wine rated (2019 guide) Gold Medal
About the wine:
Light gold color. Frank nose with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit. Fleshy attack, followed by a lively evolution that lends freshness to the whole. The texture is fine, the fruit well present, accompanied by subtle smoky notes. Good brut d'apéritif.

A rather marked acid imbalance for a brut. Too bad, I'm a bit disappointed.

Lovely balance of ripe fruit, sweet spices, smoky notes and lovely, long acidity on the palate. Good value for money.
