Gault & Millau
"A light straw color with silver highlights. The nose offers notes of citrus (lemon), spices, bread and pear-tatin. Harmonious and suave on the palate, it reveals a condensation of yellow fruits, dried oranges, stone fruits and cake spices. Purity, suppleness and acidic freshness. A real pleasure to taste.(Le Guide des Vins Gault & Millau)

About the domain :
In 2000, Ludovic and Sandie Durdon took over the family estate in the Marne valley from three generations. Managing 7.5 hectares, they have undertaken the organic conversion of 3 ha of vines; certification was obtained in 2013 for the Chardonnay and in 2015 for the Pinots, with biodynamic certification in 2023. Since 2021, a press and a new vathouse have enabled the estate to carry out all the vinification previously entrusted to the local cooperative.

About the wine:
Light straw in color, with silver highlights. The nose offers notes of citrus (lemon), spices, bread and pear-tatin. Harmonious and suave on the palate, it reveals a condensation of yellow fruits, dried oranges, stone fruits and cake spices. Purity, suppleness and acidic freshness. A real pleasure to taste.
About the domain :
The family estate has just welcomed its fifth generation of winemakers in the presence of Antoine, the owners' son. With vineyards located in Vincelles and Barzy, in the heart of the Marne Valley, the estate covers just over 6 hectares. The Chardonnay is grown using certified organic methods, and the two Pinots are in the process of obtaining certification. The wines are aged partly in barrels and partly in vats, then left to mature in the cellar for many years. This estate offers excellent quality across the range, and also welcomes you to its gîte to discover its wines and vineyard. A new parcel-based cuvée, "Les Sablons", is now available.
