Champagne Guy Charbaut
Champagne Charbaut is a house founded in 1936 by the family's grandfather, André, who first cultivated vines in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, near Epernay. One of André's two sons, Guy, decided to set up his own business following the death of his father, who had passed on all his know-how and the reins of the House to him. Champagne Guy Charbaut. Since 2010, Guy's son Xavier has been at the helm, accompanied by his wife Nathalie and their daughter Hélène.

Spanning 20 hectares, the vineyards of Champagne Guy Charbaut, managed using integrated viticulture (HVE certified), are ideally situated on hillsides classified from 90 to 100% on the Crus scale, enabling members of the Charbaut family to consistently produce champagnes of excellent quality. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are blended in Guy Charbaut's 8 champagnes, 6 of which are Premier Cru.

Keen to satisfy their customers and develop their wine tourism business, Xavier and Nathalie Charbaut decided to embark on the bed & breakfast adventure in 1999, welcoming an international clientele for a visit to their cellars, a tasting session, and even a champagne dinner, during which they can introduce them to their cuvées, which are complex and full of finesse, in the image of their passion.

1er cru

Intense, the nose of this Millésime Brut 2010 presents notes of ripe peach, quince and toast, followed by hints of coffee and vanilla with a little aeration. On the palate, the attack is supple, with richness and structure, a fine impression of fullness and perfect balance, and a lingering finish with hints of hazelnut. Enjoy with poultry and truffle purée...
