"Blended in thirds, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier have produced a brut with a tonic, fine nose, with a beautiful complexity, between brioche and fresh fruit. After a round attack, full of ripe fruit, the sharp, mineral finish leaves an impression of elegant uprightness". (Le Guide Hachette 2023) A festive cuvée!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Tsarine is the brand developed by Chanoine Frères, part of the BCC group. It was developed to accompany the world of cinema. The wines elaborated by Isabelle Tellier, the cellar master, are mainly based on the balance of the three Champagne grape varieties, with a youthful tenderness and a streamlined, fruity, flowery aesthetic. We note a certain progression in the cuvées we tasted this year.

About the domain :
As early as 1730, the Chanoine brothers dug their winery in Épernay. Their house, the oldest after Ruinart, suffered a post-war eclipse, before being reborn thanks to its integration into the group now known as Lanson-BCC (1991), which equipped it with a vast, modern, above-ground cellar in Reims. She created the Tsarine brand in memory of Catherine II, a great lover of champagne. Isabelle Tellier has been at the helm of the cellar since 2001.
