"The Finis Terrae 2007 reveals an opulent bouquet like the 2006, but shows more control and restraint. The attack on the palate is soft and greedy, lifted by notes of black plum and blackcurrant, with a hint of white pepper and soy towards the finish. This is a level above the previous vintage, showing more refinement and elegance." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Rated (2016 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
About the wine:
A blend (60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 40% Merlot) harvested by hand and aged for fourteen months in French oak barrels. The nose is reminiscent of licorice and exotic wood, with hints of black fruit and spices. On the palate, the same complexity, structure and juicy finish are evident.
Wine Enthusiast
Rated wine (2011 guide) 91/100
About the wine:
With dark aromas of tar, black pepper and blackberry, it presents itself well. The palate is creamy, harmonious and ready, with flavors of stewed - almost dried - blackcurrant, blackberry and brown sugar.
