Bodegas del Rosario
The cellar Las Bodegas del Rosario is located on the ancient wine route, el Camino de la Estacion, in the Murcia region of southeastern Spain. Just a stone's throw from the Bullas Wine Museum, the region boasts a wealth of wine-growing culture.

Las Bodegas del Rosario is the largest winery in the Bullas appellation, the very first cooperative winery in the region, founded in 1950. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, the wines have a generous, sun-drenched profile. The region's flagship grape variety is Monastrell, the Spanish name for Mourvèdre, the grape variety that reigns supreme in France and gives Bandol wines their distinctive character. Environmental issues are at the heart of Las Bodegas del Rosario's approach, and the use of chemicals is reduced as much as possible to let nature find the right balance.

90/100 James Suckling

"Lots of brightness and juicy fruit with blueberry notes and mineral character. Medium-bodied, with supple tannins and a fresh finish. Lively and fruity. Good to drink. (James Suckling) - Screw cap
