Bodegues Sumarroca

Bodegues Sumarroca is a family estate located near Barcelona, between the villages of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Monistrol d'Anoia (Alt Penedès), whose winegrowing adventure began in the early 1980s.

The vineyards of  Bodegues Sumarroca currently comprises almost 465 hectares of vines. The terroir is limestone, clay and silt, with average organic matter content. The care given to environmentally-friendly viticulture and the effort made to recover wooded areas on the land should be highlighted. The main grape varieties grown are Tempranillo, Merlot, Grenache and Syrah for the reds, and Parellada, Macabeu, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Gewürztraminer for the whites.

Bodegues Sumarroca produces wines and cavas based on the highest quality principles, a philosophy that has led to success in many countries.
