2/5 (2 reviews)
92/100 James Suckling
"Plum and blackberry with hints of chocolate and sandalwood. Medium-bodied with round, unctuous tannins and a delicious finish. Drink it or keep it." (James Suckling 2021). Superb value for money!
Familia Bastida - La Mancha Cimal Garnacha 2019
2.3/5 (3 reviews)
93/100 James Suckling
"Sweet berries and cherries with a touch of sandalwood and lavender. Medium-bodied with very fine, elegant tannins. A very pretty and sophisticated wine. Best after 2023, but already very enjoyable." (James Suckling 2021). Gem of Grenache!
Familia Bastida - Paraje de Titos 2016
2.8/5 (11 reviews)
91/100 James Suckling
A 100% Garnacha, perfectly mastered on limestone terroir, aged 9 months in barrels. The nose is explosive with notes of ripe red fruit. The attack is greedy, with a round, suave juice and a mineral freshness to balance the whole. Gem of Grenache!
Familia Bastida - Alceo 2016
3.6/5 (12 reviews)
This 100% Tempranillo is an invitation to indulge your sweet tooth! The nose is straightforward, with ripe red and black fruits, blueberries, blackberries and plums. Crisp and juicy on the palate, enriched by spicy, balsamic notes over a mineral framework reminiscent of the limestone terroir. Superb value for money!
Familia Bastida - Drama 2015
3.9/5 (10 reviews)
"Vinified in stainless steel tanks, then aged 8 months in new French and American oak barrels. Deep ruby color. Aromas of boysenberry, cherry liqueur and licorice that evolve with aeration into smoky, vanilla and floral notes. A very concentrated, homogeneous palate, offering juicy fruit (blueberry), cola flavors that demonstrate clarity and good length. The finish is spicy, smoky and quite persistent, with a hint of violet candy and supple tannins". (Josh Raynold, Vinous November 2016)
