"Vinified in stainless steel tanks, then aged 8 months in new French and American oak barrels. Deep ruby color. Aromas of boysenberry, cherry liqueur and licorice that evolve with aeration into smoky, vanilla and floral notes. A very concentrated, homogeneous palate, offering juicy fruit (blueberry), cola flavors that demonstrate clarity and good length. The finish is spicy, smoky and quite persistent, with a hint of violet candy and supple tannins". (Josh Raynold, Vinous November 2016)

Good Spanish wine, perhaps a little too voluptuous for me.

Plenty of substance, but the wood dominates too much. To be kept in the cellar.
