"Big nose of bitter chocolate. Rich and fresh, with healthy tannins and a rather elegant finish". (James Suckling) Aged 5 months in casks, the tempranillo is fruity, round and spicy. A generous Ribera del Duero ready to open!

93/100 Robert Parker

"Senorio de Los Baldios 2009 is aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months. Once again, the nose skilfully assimilates the wood, letting floral, black plum, blackcurrant and mineral notes blossom in the glass. The palate has a lovely lemony structure that goes very well with blackcurrant, blueberry and black cherry, while the finish is straightforward and refined. This is another excellent wine from Garcia de Aranda." (Wine Advocate 2013 - Robert Parker)
