« En 2005, Lar de Paula Merus.4 ouvre le style international de la cave. De couleur pourpre opaque, il a été élevé pendant 18 mois dans un tiers de fûts neufs français et américains. Des arômes de chêne grillé, de terre brûlée, de minéraux, de myrtille et de cerise noire pour un vin extrait moyennement corsé à corsé, bien serré et dense, avec beaucoup de structure.
