"The 2008 Barolo Vigna Marenca is surprisingly supple and elegant. Notes of red cherry, fresh-cut flowers, spice and mint take shape in the glass in a refined, invigorating register rarely seen in this wine. Remarkable, with a long, harmonious finish. A hint of dried rose and sweet cherry lingers in the empty glass, a dazzling display. Marenca has been aged in a combination of casks and barrels". (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
