"Here's an interesting new proposal from Ratti. Serradenari is a great MGA and one of the few vintage sites that exist on the western slope below the village of La Morra. The 2019 Barolo Serradenari has a more botanical bouquet, namely lavender buds, thyme, anise and the kind of flowers and herbs you might find in a fragrant garden. It's nuanced and delicate, framed by a light note of ash or crushed limestone. The finish is quite firm and nervous." (Robert Parker - Wine Advocate 2023)

About the wine:
This wine expresses itself with aromas of wild cherries, tart red plums, dried violets and oolong tea leaves. The palate is elegant, almost dancing on the palate, with ripe red fruit giving way to savory flavors of fresh bay leaf, clove and balsam. Drink between 2025 and 2040.

About the wine:
La Morra. Medium ruby. A seductive nose of red fruit and oak, but very subtle. The red fruits are marked by oak, the tannins are crisp and the acidity is refreshing on the finish. A modern approach, skilfully executed. Not ready yet. 2026-2036

About the wine:
Very fragrant with aromas of orange peel, hibiscus and sliced strawberries that carry through to a full body with layers of tannin and a juicy, chewy finish. A little traditional but solid. Give it time. Try it after 2027.
