Renato Ratti vineyards are located along the hills of Italy's Langhe, Roero and Montferrat regions. They are all carefully cultivated with the greatest respect for the terroir. In 1965, Renato Ratti bought his first small vineyard in Barolo Marcenasco. With hard work, the estate has now grown to a total of 35 hectares, spread over 6 parcels in La Morra, Mango and Costigliole d'Asti. The grape varieties, microclimates and soils are different, but the land is cultivated with the same love of the vine and respect for the environment.
The principles that govern Renato Ratti 's work and choices have been summed up in his own words: "There are three factors that characterize a great wine: the vine, the climate and the soil. One factor, however, is decisive: man. The connections between climate, soil and vine are truly complex; when, through a combination of hard work and serendipity, they reach a perfect balance, we are blessed with wines of incomparable quality".
