"The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino shows remarkable balance and integrity. The delicate sweetness of the fruit contrasts very nicely with the more volatile, licorice-like aromas that come so naturally from the Sangiovese grown in the impressive Montalcino appellation. This is a fine wine from Camigliano, an estate that excels in classic, cooler vintages like 2013. The winemaking is also impeccable, with balanced intensity and integrated tannins. There's a playful note of cherry sweetness on the finish that we clearly identify as the signature of Domain." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker)

Powerful kirsch and vegetal nose, with liquorice and cocoa undertones. Warm but affordable on the palate. Rather delicate, not bad at all and mature.

Not convinced...this wine seems diluted to me, the color is light, the palate is a little flat...to be reviewed on the next bottle.

Disappointed by the first 2 bottles, which were a little firm, even dry. Much better with the third, drunk in 2020.
