"Gianni Brunelli Le Chiuse di Sotto's 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is another gem from this goldsmith estate.[...] It shows charred aromas with spice and ripe fruit, and broad, big ambition. I got a touch of graham cracker and brown sugar, followed by spice and ripe fruit. This is a long, generous wine, with red fruit and texture on the long finish." (Wine Advocate 2020)

About the wine:
Gianni Brunelli Le Chiuse di Sotto's 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is another gem from this goldsmith estate. This wine offers texture and depth, but it doesn't have the same level of brightness or brilliance achieved in the 2016 Brunello. It shows charred aromas with spice and ripe fruit, and broad, big ambition. I got a touch of graham cracker and brown sugar, followed by spice and ripe fruit. It's long and generous, with red fruit and texture on the long finish.

About the wine:
Aromas of undergrowth, ripe red fruit, sandalwood and menthol come through in the glass of this magnificent wine. Full-bodied and delicious, it displays a light concentration, delivering aromas of ripe black cherry, vanilla and licorice before a tobacco finish. Firm, refined tannins support it, while fresh acidity keeps it in balance. Drink between 2025 and 2035.

About the wine:
A full-bodied, structured red with smoke, tar and grilled mushrooms on the nose. Some bitter berries to accompany the earthy mushrooms. Soft tannins and a long, savory finish. Lots of citrus notes. Drink from 2023.
