"Taste this Italian white wine from an ancestral volcanic terroir that gives it astonishing aromas!"
"Crystalline and concentrated, this vintage of Calvarino magnifies the distinct aromas of Soave's volcanic soil with notes of smoke and gunflint. As the wine opens, aromas of lemon oil, white peach, jasmine and green apple skin rise from the glass. The wine feels velvety in the glass, with vertical and horizontal flavors filling the mouth while fresh acidity lifts the palate. The flavors reflect the palate with the addition of a hint of marzipan and finish with an energy that hints at the wine's aging capacity." (Wine Enthusiast 2024)

About the wine:
Subtle nose that takes its time to open up. Yellow fruit with hints of chamomile. Fresh, white-fruit palate that still needs time to open out. Linear acidity. Very concentrated, with notes of peach pit on the finish. 2025-2036

About the wine:
The first single vineyard created here in the late 18th century. More black earth than Soave Classico. This is a very good wine, combining the ripeness inherent in the vintage with a mineral pungency. Green apples, quince and stone fruit. Yet the sensation is linear, fresh and taut, with an increasing trajectory of fruity sweetness on the long, energetic finish. Impactful on the finish. To drink or to keep.
