The Ripasso technique, so particular to Valpolicella, brings structure and complexity to this blend. With its intense, almost black color, the concentration of this wine is immediately apparent: ripe aromas of black fruits and spices mingle in the glass. The palate is rich and elegant. A superb wine to be reserved for typical Italian dishes!

A fine wine. Unfortunately, the bottle tasted was slightly corked....However, we can detect great quality in this original wine. (Ripasso method)

I don't understand the gentleman's comment that this wine is "dreadful". I find that there is a very nice texture on the palate and that the fruit is very ripe. A level of complexity above the Valpolicella 2015. In this price range, for an Italian wine, I didn't expect so many qualities!
