"Apple blossom and menthol. Dry but pleasant thanks to delicate bubbles. More pearly than sparkling. Green apples, pomelo zest and peel, chicory leaf and a hint of nectarine. The Mauzac is laid bare. I'd like to try it with seafood" (Jancis Robinson) Pure Mauzac!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Françoise Antech-Gazeau is the masterful head of this successful trading house, which has made sparkling wines its specialty for six generations. Nearly a million bottles are produced each year. A wide range of very consistent, high-quality wines, with a clear focus on purity, minerality and balanced freshness. The mauzac-based cuvée M30 impressed us with its formidable aperitif capacity.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
A vineyard owner and family business for six generations, Françoise Antech now runs the company, following in the footsteps of her father Georges and uncle Roger. A sure bet, specializing in Limoux bubbles.
