Domaine Albert Bichot

Domaine Albert Bichot
Albert Bichot owns four estates in the heart of Burgundy's four main wine-growing regions: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Each Domaine comprises not only vineyards, but also facilities and a structure dedicated to the vinification and ageing of the region's wines. Under the leadership of Alain Serveau, Technical Director, the teams are made up of vineyard managers for our vineyards and cellar masters for vinification and ageing.

A Domaine Albert Bichot is first and foremost a vineyard on the best "climats" of several appellations. In these sites steeped in history, ancestral techniques and modern equipment complement each other perfectly. The same care is taken with grapes grown on the estate as with those purchased from loyal winemaking partners. Each vintage is a challenge, each wine a unique story, a terroir to be revealed.

Albert Bichot 's know-how is based on respect for terroir and nature. By practicing sustainable viticulture, based on observation, prevention and listening to the great natural balances, Albert Bichot wishes to preserve this nourishing land for future generations. The wines are always marked by their terroir and the village from which they come, rather than by a "dogmatic" Maison style. Nevertheless, vintage after vintage, Albert Bichot strives to offer wine-lovers fine, elegant and complex white wines and expressive, fruity reds with soft tannins.

originality

The king of Burgundy grapes, it's on these exceptional terroirs near Limoux that Maison Bichot brings out the best in Chardonnay. Combining harmony and pleasure, this is a unique expression of 4 complementary terroirs. On the palate, fresh almond and grapefruit mingle with lily and vanilla over the long finish. Energy and vivacity balance a rich, iodized whole. - Packaged in screw-caps.

Domaine Albert Bichot - Vin de France Horizon de Bichot Pinot noir 2020

pinot noir
aperitif
originality

Carried by new horizons in this uniquely diverse region, the Pinot Noir produced by Maison Bichot takes on a southern air. While retaining its rare elegance, it also greedily expresses black fruits with accents of blackberry and blackcurrant, mingling with morello cherry and raspberry. The palate develops cherry, with notes of pepper and menthol, combined with a hint of cedar. Silky and fresh to serve you! - Packaged in screw cap.

Albert Bichot - Meursault 2009

Here's a pretty Meursault 2009 that's tasting well right now and will make lovely gourmet pairings. It opens on a background of toasted notes with a hint of vanilla, and develops a fruity-floral blend with nuances of white peach and hawthorn. A full-bodied, well-balanced wine, long on the palate with a hint of sweetness and beautiful minerality. Serve with sautéed chanterelles, chanterelles with cream sauce, scallops with trumpets of death or poultry with mushroom cream sauce!
