No fewer than five grape varieties are used in equal measure to make this Tradition Rouge, expressing the richness and uniqueness of the schist terroirs of the Faugères appellation. A superb 2007 vintage with beautiful ripe red fruit, black pepper and incense notes. Full-bodied on the palate, with rich tannins and subtle notes of licorice. A great introduction to L'Estanilles Faugères!

About the domain :
This property made Faugères great in the 1990s, before being taken over by Julien Seydoux, who came here with the modesty to learn about the terroir and the desire to bring Estanilles back to the forefront. The winemaking techniques are gradually adapting to the grapes and there's still room for improvement. The reds are powerful and full-flavored, with a strong personality.
