Château de La Liquière

Château de la Liquière is owned by the Vidal Dumoulin family, who have been running this 60-hectare estate since 1912, which has seen generations of winegrowers, each more passionate than the last.

The Château de la Liquière estate is very fragmented. It consists of vineyards planted in the middle of the garrigue: more than 70 plots scattered between the villages of Autignac, Caussiniojouls, Cabrerolles, and Faugères, in the north of the appellation area. The vast majority of the plots, on schist soils, face south towards the Mediterranean.

The Château de la Liquière vineyard has been converting to organic farming since 2008, and 2012 marks the estate's first certified vintage. The care taken is in line with this: practices that respect the environment and the vines, manual harvesting, careful and strictly monitored vinification.
