Château de La Liquière
Château de la Liquière is owned by the Vidal Dumoulin family, who have run this 60-hectare estate since 1912, which has seen a succession of generations of winegrowers, each more passionate than the last.

The Château de la Liquière estate is highly fragmented. More than 70 parcels are scattered between the villages of Autignac, Caussiniojouls, Cabrerolles and Faugères, to the north of the Appellation area. The vast majority of plots, on schist soils, face south, towards the Mediterranean.

The Château de la Liquière vineyard has been in conversion to organic farming since 2008, and 2012 marks the estate's first certified vintage. The care given to the vines and the environment is in line with the principles of organic farming, with manual harvesting and careful, strictly monitored vinification.

The range of Château de la Liquière wines is adapted to every style of consumption and every moment in life, perfectly reflecting the purity of the terroir's expression.

"Faugères de Haut vol!"

"Tucade? In dialect, a whim, a whim, and above all, a high-flying red born of mourvèdre and syrah. On the nose, the 12 months in barrel are discreet, giving way to ripe black fruit. The fruit comes through even more generously on the palate, which is full-bodied, licorice-flavored and powerful, with a lovely sweetness that coats fat, coated tannins. Rich, voluptuous, tasty, it can be decanted or left to age". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2024)

Note: Gault Millau 15/20
"We appreciate this summer wine par excellence, which can also be enjoyed all year round with fine spicy dishes. It will enrich them with its volume, its beautiful acidity, which perfectly complements a pretty fruity aromatic framework (raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant) and notes of speculos. With seafood, it will offer its unique character". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2012 - Gault Millau)
