About wine:
I am immediately struck by aromas of orange blossom, violet, juniper, and cassis. On the palate, the flavors are concentrated, distilled into a succulent concoction of mandarin peel, redcurrant, bramble, and undergrowth. Superb.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2025 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Since the 1970s, this certified organic estate has been one of the jewels in the appellation's crown, appearing in the Guide with unfailing regularity. Boasting a magnificent terroir of 70 small schist plots (58 hectares) that sculpt the landscape, it now benefits from the expertise of the younger generation, inherited from grandfather Jean and father Bernard Vidal, both former presidents of the appellation.
