Jancis Robinson
"A fine balance between freshness and fatness for this airy white, an easy, accessible cuvée to enjoy with the arrival of fine weather".
Classic Blanc, a unique blend of Sauvignon and Piquepoul, offers a highly distinctive aromatic profile, combining aromas of white peach, apricot and quince paste with notes of toasted almonds. On the palate, the attack is round, with a finish prolonged by acidic freshness.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine noté (guide 2024) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list, and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
After advanced studies in biogenetics, ampelography and oenology, Cyril Bourgne began his career in Bordeaux (Château de Fieuzal) before embarking, with his wife Nadia, on a more personal viticultural adventure in the Languedoc. The vineyard is meticulously tended, and the vinifications now carried out in the new cellar, immersed in the Saint-Chinian landscape, enable the extraction of long, fine grapes. The precision of barrel ageing, introduced for the Grand Vin cuvée with its predominantly Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes, aims to renew the contemporary expression of Saint-Chinian.

About the wine:
Crisp and healthy. A sip of this wine is like a bite of spring salad: peas, bright green mange-tout, lean asparagus, butter lettuce, a lick of olive oil, a hint of salt and a hint of fruity golden apple acidity. Bright, appetizing, crisp and fresh. Summer in a glass.
