Gilbert & Gaillard

"Light gold color. Fine woody vanilla on a background of peach, honey and heady flowers. A spirited attack. The palate develops slowly, accompanied by an elegant woody-fruity palette. The final sweetness prolongs the pleasure". (Le Guide des Vins 2016 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

The ideal house for those who want to discover good Languedoc wines faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a winery. They mature their selected cuvées with the winegrowers from whom they buy them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of their origins. A wide gourmet range with many successful wines and a few stunning surprises.

About the domain :

In 1995, oenologist Laurent Calmel teamed up with Jérôme Joseph to found a trading house specializing in Languedoc-Roussillon terroir wines. The duo launched their label in 2007. He selects the plots, vinifies and ages the cuvées.
