Domaine de Cantaussel - Bergerie 2015
4.7/5 (3 reviews)
A blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah planted on the Petit Causse terroir, Bergerie is a fresh, supple red with lots of fruit and hints of Morello cherry. It is only produced in very good years (last vintage: 2010) . An excellent value for money in organic terms!
Domaine de Cantaussel - Minervois La Livinière Pic St Martin 2012
3.6/5 (40 reviews)
3*Coup de Coeur Hachette
"The estate is on a roll, as witnessed by this 2012, which transports us into an intense, captivating aromatic universe: ripe raspberry and blackcurrant, eucalyptus. Supple on the attack, the palate rises in power on a framework of vanilla and sweet tannins with coconut accents, while remaining marked by the freshness of altitude: a perfect balance. Aged leather, blond tobacco and spices contribute to a rare complexity; the persistence adds to the immediate charm of this bottle while constituting its "capital time"" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016).
Domaine de Cantaussel - Cuvée Estelum 2010
4/5 (11 reviews)
Cuvée Estelum comes from the estate's old vines, and offers a rich, complex bouquet, with a predominantly fruity character. The palate is fresh and taut, built on soft, flavorful tannins: a wine of character marked by its terroir, to be enjoyed with Mediterranean dishes, for example...
Domaine de Cantaussel - Vermentino 2014
2.6/5 (5 reviews)
The first vintage to be certified organic, the Vermentino 2014 offers lovely citrus scents, which are echoed on the palate with a little bitterness to great effect on the finish. This fresh, dynamic, well-balanced palate is the result of a selective early-morning harvest. A meticulous process for an elegant wine.
Domaine de Cantaussel - Côtes du Brian 2010
3.6/5 (5 reviews)
With its garnet-red hue, this relaxed wine, dominated by Carignan and Grenache, opens with a fairly complex nose, revealing aromas of fruit paste, with a mineral note and crisp tannins on the palate. Very fine work at a very attractive price.
